Normally, when printing 4圆s using my current Hewlett Packard Photosmart 325, there are borders on all 4 sides, but I was trying to get it to have only white borders on ONE side to "fill up" the paper better yet still not lose anything to cropping. Thing is, I was wanting to have the "full frame" type of prints like I get from Adorama, where there are white borders either top/bottom or left-right (usually the former) but full edge-to-edge the other direction, this is my preferred style. In particular I'm asking regarding color profiles etc, and how to make the shots 100% borders if I choose. They worked for me but I am wondering if any of them could be better. I was hoping someone could help me with the settings I used for printing. I wasn't sure the paper would do a good job, I once used Kodak 4圆 paper in a HP 4圆 printer and it was horrible. The prints definitely are lab-quality, and set-up of the printer was painless. (They didn't have any Epson paper anyway.) In anticipation of that I had picked up some Kodak Ultra Premium Photo Paper (high gloss, Catalog #125-2261), 8½x11, as I saw a 65-sheet pack of it at Sam's Club for $16.50 or so and thought-what the hey, I'll give it a try. Purchased it at Fred Miranda for $55, brand-new in box, and that included shipping. Just received my Epson R280 printer today.
